The Preserve Open

The Preserve Open

Introducing the 4th Annual Preserve Open

Brought to you by BLASER USA

Join us at The Preserve Sporting Club in Richmond, Rhode Island for a world-class sporting clays experience across more than 300 acres of extraordinary shooting grounds.

We are thrilled to welcome back the legendary Miles Family — Tim, Gebben, and Karen — as they return to The Preserve to once again craft unforgettable target presentations across our property’s dramatic terrain, elevation changes, and natural beauty. Working alongside our longtime Sporting Clays Superintendent and Hunt Master, Richard “Richie” Frisella Jr., this powerhouse team delivers nothing short of excellence.

The Event

The 2026 Preserve Open will feature an exceptional lineup of NSCA-registered events, championship target presentations, and one of the most scenic sporting clays settings in the country.

Main Event Course

The main events will be held on our championship 18-station competition course, designed to test every aspect of your game.

  • Begin in the woods, where precision and focus reign.
  • Step into the spotlight at Station 6, our signature valley presentation, featuring a shooting platform 80 feet above select trap locations.
  • Watch the course open up as you move deeper into the property.
  • Arrive at the legendary Station 15, “The Meadow,” a multi-acre field often showcasing an 86-foot lift.
  • Finish strong at our two-story covered Station 17, followed by the dramatic hillside Station 18.

This is not just a course — it’s a journey.

Additional World-Class Events

  • 100-Bird 5-Stand set in our Gravel Bank with a traditional New England wooded backdrop.
  • FITASC 50 introduced in a new location using portions of our Driven Hunt Arena, with an incredible 210 feet of elevation change.
  • Super Sporting 100 on the backside of the property, featuring sweeping views, cliffs, open fields, and stunning New England Mountain Laurel.

What’s Coming Changes Everything

We are currently designing and installing three brand-new, permanent sporting clays courses at The Preserve Sporting Club. If completed in time for the 2026 Preserve Open, this will elevate the event to a truly next-level, world-class experience.

This is a teaser only and subject to change — but any change will be bigger, better, and more exciting. Stay tuned.

Warm-Up Course & Extras

This year’s warm-up course is bigger and better than ever, featuring lifts, diverse target presentations, and a short course designed to challenge shooters of every level. Expect creativity, variety, and plenty of “wow” moments.

Target presentation. Landscape. Elite target setters. That’s what defines The Preserve Open.
