We warmly invite you to be a part of our 19th Annual Special Olympics Rhode Island Fun Shoot\, where we will once again celebrate sportsmanship\, savor delectable food\, and foster camaraderie – all for the betterment of over 4\,000 Special Olympics Athletes in Rhode Island. Mark your calendars for Saturday\, November 4\, 2023 and join us at The Preserve Sporting Club & Residences in Richmond\, Rhode Island. \nThis year we’ll be holding two separate shoots to support SORI\, if you are NSCA registered and would like to compete for punches please signup through the Scorechaser link below. \nIf you’d rather shoot our fun shoot course\, it will be fewer targets and not counted for NSCA punches. Orientation starts mid-morning followed by a 1\,500-bird release. Twenty-four shooters will rotate between our 12 shooting pegs and 13th peg warming station. \nTwo shooters man each station with a retriever and handler standing by to assist. Wind and sky make magic as you perfect your leads while pheasants race overhead from the Northeast’s tallest wing-shooting tower 210 feet above the lowest station. Between pegs is a brief and scenic walk filled with conversations of great shots and the ones that got away. \nThe day is capped off by a lively\, exquisitely prepared seasonal game dinner by Chef David Burke\, followed by a Scotch and cigar pairing. \nPrice:\n$2\,000 per hunter.\nPrice includes: \n\nFull breakfast in the Main Lodge or option to shoot compact sporting clays\nSafety orientation\nHigh Tower Hunt\, ammunition is provided\, and guns are available OR you’re welcome to bring your own.\nLavish dinner followed by Scotch and cigar pairing\nExclusive access to following day Walk Up Hunt for only $750.\n\nDress Code:\nTraditional Shooting Attire is required.\nMen: Button-Up Shirts\, Ties\, Blazer\nLadies: Shooting Dress\, Vest.\nClosed toed weather appropriate shoes.
